President's Project 2006-2008:Making Dreams come True Through You For the 2006-2008 administration, the FFWC President has selected as her special project, College Scholarship Program of the American Cancer Society. This program provides scholarships to youth who have cancer. The goal is to sponsor a GFWC Florida Federation "Cancer Scholarship."

a reminder that you have until our Spring Convention in May
to become a Charter Member of the 1895 Society for $189.50
Please plan to attend the Money Matters workshop at
convention on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. to learn
why the Society was started and where some of the monies have
already been spent and where the rest will be allocated. The
treasurer and finance officer will be giving this workshop. Come
and meet “Cents” and “No-Cents.” If you use the GFWC logo on your club information, newsletters, website, brochures, etc, be sure you visit the Logos link to obtain the most recent officially GFWC-approved version. Guidelines for use are also at that link.

HEAVENLY HATS LUNCHEON Saturday at 11:30 a.m. On behalf of President Pat, Districts 4 and 10 and myself, let me extend a warm invitation to each and every one of you to join with us in extending a warm, federation welcome to Anthony D. Leanna, the outstanding young man, who with his family, founded the Heavenly Hats Foundation in Green Bay, WI. I know that you will thoroughly enjoy hearing Anthony’s wonderful story and meeting with him, and his family, after the luncheon.
